A path from beginner to advanced
The structured path covers beginner, intermediate and advanced material across the A1–C1 level bands, with level and unit selection. Whether you are starting from zero or brushing up before a move, you can choose a place to begin.
Listen, read and speak
Short dialogues include English translations on demand and generated speech where available. The Pronunciation Lab works on challenging Brazilian sounds. With AI features enabled, speaking feedback is available on individual words and sounds.
Talk it through with Bia
Bia is an AI conversation tutor for everyday situations such as travel, family, work and life in Brazil. A translator with audio is also included, for words you meet along the way. AI features have daily usage allowances, and non-AI practice alternatives are available.
Make the vocabulary stick
Meaning Match, Phrase Builder and Find the Word are short eight-card games with answer feedback, combos and spaced review. Find the Word uses a keyboard with Portuguese accents, so you practise spelling as well as recall. There are no heart penalties or forced timers.
Daily quests, focused sessions, XP and streaks help turn the weeks before a trip or move into a steady routine.
Privacy and choice
Registration is optional before purchase. Before AI processing, the app explains what data goes to Microsoft Azure Speech, Anthropic Claude and OpenAI, and you can decline AI. Lessons require FalaZay Pro either way. See the privacy policy.
Getting started
The download is free for iPhone (iOS 15.0 or later). Lessons require FalaZay Pro, a weekly or annual auto-renewable subscription. The weekly plan includes a 3-day free trial when the App Store offer includes one.
